Thinking Outside the Box
For this project we are taking a square image and turning it into something that it wouldn't look like it would be. Something that's quite difficult is getting the colors to match and to get the right shade. My artwork is supposed to look like a dragon's eye and a bunch of different bright passageways. In my opinion this isn't my most favorite project we have done but it was still fun to do.
House Drawing
For the drawing house project I am doing first point perspective. I want my house to be Halloween themed. The styles I'm going for are, cottage, colonel, and cape cod. My house is located in Salem, Massachusetts so I wanted my Halloween themed house to have unusual designs. My house has a basement, first floor, and second floor. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a game room and snack bar being in the basement. I personally think this was one of the hardest projects we have done. I had some trouble getting the perspective right and the shading but in the end it turned out somewhat better than I expected.

Impressionism Project:
For this project we are working on some painting techniques such as, dry brush, pointillism, and gradation. I decided to do the dreamworks guy on the moon with an ocean below him. Here is the start of my painting. I am going to attempt to use all of the techniques that I learned in my painting. I tried adding seaweed to make the painting look more detailed. i wanted to do the Dreakworks guy sitting on the moon but I had difficulties getting the shape and where I wanted to be. I ended up just adding some birds in the background and made my moon a little thicker. This project has been my favorite sofar.
Clay Project:
This project we are working on making mini sculptures of three random animals we pick. I picked a dragons tail, otter body, and a ducks head. I'm excited to start this project to see what I can make! The animals I decided to combined are, a ducks head, an otters body and legs, and a dragons tail. So far I've struggled a lot with making the ducks head, next will be the body. I struggled with the head a lot but I finally got it to somewhat stay together. I had to re-do the neck part multiple times but this is the final product of my project, next is to paint it. Now that our clay has dried we are painting them different colors and using different shapes. The last 2 pictures are the finished project. This project was one of my favorite and the most fun one. The last picture is my friend and I's sculpture.

Self portrait part 2:
This is my second self portrait drawing and I think this is one is more difficult than the last few we've done. The main issues I'm having are getting the shape of the eyes right and making the hair look more realistic. The three symbols I chose were my hair because it's curly, my eyes, and right eyebrow because it has a random slit in it.
Self portrait:
For this art project I am doing a self portrait. So far it's kind of easy. I had a difficult time getting the shape of the nose right and I kept having to go back a erasing my lines to get the shape somewhat right. The lips were also difficult to draw also.
